Why super brothers plumbing?
HOW DO I KNOW WHEN I SHOULD REPIPE MY HOUSE?
Rusty or
Discolored Water
The leading cause of rust is corrosion. Corrosion is the chemical reaction that occurs when iron within metal pipes gets exposed to the oxygen in the water. The reaction forms rust which eats away at the pipe, changing the chemical makeup and making the pipe more brittle. It happens with Galvanized pipes. To avoid any health issues it is recommended to re-pipe the full house
Water Leak
A water leak may occur due to the age of the pipes, poor quality of installation, defective materials or drilling a pinhole in the wall to hang a picture for example; sometimes could even happen from rats chewing through the pipes in the crawlspace or attic. Depending on the cause of the problem, Super Brothers can determine whether it is possible to repair it or if you will need to replace all the pipes in the house.
Low water
Pressure
You can’t take a shower properly because water is barely running from your shower. Mineral buildup clogs pipes over time and causes the water pressure to go down, as there’s less space for water to go through. It usually happens when you have old galvanized pipes in your house. If you do have galvanized pipes, the recommendation will be to repipe the house.
TWO TYPES OF PIPE WE WORK WITH
There are a lot of recycled copper products in the market that can compromise and cause home flooding. Since we have warranty for our repipe, we can’t afford to use cheap products. Copper comes in several grades (M,L,K and more). Copper pipe has the highest pressure and temperature ratings of all domestic water pipe options.
Pex is resistant to freezing, meets most codes, can handle any normal domestic water temperature and application, pressure resistant, adaptable, flexible, shares many fittings with copper and so may be mixed into copper systems.
