Faucet base and supply tubes

Depending on faucet, you bought installation procedure might vary a bit from what we are going to show. So make sure to check instructions provided by manufacturer first.KITCHEN FAUCET REPLACEMENTAttach the mounting bolts with the base, you can use wrench to tighten them but be careful not to over tight.KITCHEN FAUCET REPLACEMENTSet up the base gasket on its place and if needed connect new supply tubes to the faucet.KITCHEN FAUCET REPLACEMENTBefore mounting the faucet on its place on the sink, use plumbers tape to secure leak-free thread connections of water supply tubes.KITCHEN FAUCET REPLACEMENTUse a wrench to connect supply hoses to a faucet, be careful not to over tight because it might produce leak issue.

Mounting the faucet on a sink

Insert the water supply tubes thru the holes in the sink.KITCHEN FAUCET REPLACEMENTPut the faucet in position, mounting nuts should go thru the holes on the sink so you will be able to tight them with nuts.KITCHEN FAUCET REPLACEMENTNow dive under the sink and tighten the mounting nuts. It is best if you have someone to help you, to hold a faucet base on its place while you are tightening mounting nuts.

Repiping

Attach hoses to water supply line, use plumbers tape on threads to prevent leakage.KITCHEN FAUCET REPLACEMENTIf you acquired faucet with sprayer, connect the sprayer hose. The way you do this will depend on a manufacturer of your faucet so make sure to read instructions for the faucet.KITCHEN FAUCET REPLACEMENTRemove the deaerator and turn on the faucet, hot and cold water side.KITCHEN FAUCET REPLACEMENTTurn on water supply valve(s), if they are wheel type valves turn them on 100% and then return half a revolution back to prevent leak on valve spindle.Let the water run for a couple of minutes to wash out any dirt or debris.KITCHEN FAUCET REPLACEMENTCheck beneath the sink for any leakage and if needed reapply plumbers tape to seal a threaded connection. Reattach deaerator on faucet pipe. If you had disconnected garbage disposal, p trap or any other device you had disconnected underneath the sink that you had previously disconnected in order to access to a faucet, you can reconnect them to power supply now.
